Rode Podcaster

Rode's Podcaster mic is specifically designed for podcasting, and use with computer recording applications (hence the name). Created for capturing wide frequency responses with minimal distortion, the Podcaster is extremely easy to use - just plug it via the USB connection and you are ready to go. This mic model is largely based on the legendary Rode Broadcaster mic, which has become the basis for the industry of television. The Broadcaster quality is now represented in the modernised Podcaster version, which uses a super-convenient USB connection for the 21st century generation of journalists. Also, the mic has an 'On air' LED indicator, a direct headphone amp and, of course, the Rode's signature low self-noise. Additionally, you get a high-pass filter that is switchable and for optional extras, you can get a shock-mount system as well as an Anglepoise-style mount arm.
