With advanced aptX lossless audio, Bluetooth 5.4, and 12mm Carbon Cone drivers adapted from the Px8 over-ear headphones, Pi8 offers superior sound and solid connectivity.
The flagship Pi8 earbuds are supplied with an advanced Smartcase, capable of supporting convenient wireless charging and Wireless Audio Retransmission for converting analog inputs to wireless aptX Adaptive audio at up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. The intuitive capacitive touch controls make it easy to adjust settings, and with the Bowers & Wilkins Music app, you can adjust 5-band EQ and stream directly from music apps. Noise-canceling mics ensure crystal-clear calls no matter where you are. Each earbud delivers up to six and a half hours of playback with ANC on, but with the case, you can get up to 20 hours of playback for all-day listening. The Pi8 includes a wireless charging case, a USB-C charging cable, and four pairs of eartips to fit any ear size.
Smartcase with Wireless Audio Retransmission
The Smartcase included with the Pi8 is slim and easy to slip into a pocket. It also includes support for wireless charging and innovative Wireless Audio Retransmission technology, allowing you to take any analog or digital audio input, such as in-flight entertainment, home computers, or USB-C smart devices, and retransmit the audio in aptX Adaptive at up to 24-bit / 96 kHz.

Pi8 uses an advanced Qualcomm chipset to provide improved wireless stability and reliable connectivity. The latest Bluetooth 5.4 specification ensures multipoint support for two devices, while aptX Adaptive wireless transmission at 24-bit / 96 kHz is included for exceptional sound quality from compatible wireless sources. Pi8 earbuds also support seamless integration with smart devices thanks to Google Fast Pair and Made for iPhone support.
Carbon Cone Drivers
Reaching even greater heights than the Pi6, the flagship Pi8 earbuds sport 12mm drive units with proprietary Carbon Cone technology, taken directly from the award-winning Px8 over-ear headphones. Combined with support for cutting-edge aptX Lossless at 24-bit / 96 kHz and dedicated DSP, DAC, and amplification tech from ADI, you get the maximum possible resolution and accuracy for whatever you're listening to.
Improved Call Quality and Noise Canceling
The Pi8 features carefully positioned microphones designed to reject unwanted external noises during voice calls, adopting the technology found in the flagship Px8 over-ear headphones. This is teamed with new noise cancellation, including a proprietary ANC algorithm developed by Bowers & Wilkins to deliver the best possible results in the Pi8. The design intent is consistent with the approach developed by Bowers & Wilkins for its over-ear Px7 S2 and Px8 headphones to cancel as much unwanted noise as possible without impacting the musicality of the performance.

Every aspect of the design of the Pi8 has been engineered with purpose. The overall shape of both models was inspired by an extensive Bowers & Wilkins research project into the variation in human ear form across both gender and ethnicity. Bowers & Wilkins’ industrial design team used the results of this study to create an all-new earbud form that delivers exceptional comfort and fit plus outstanding noise cancellation for the broadest possible range of listeners.
Thanks to the secure construction of Pi8, the outer casing of the earbuds ensures all the important technology within stays safe from water and dust. With an IP54 rating, you can enjoy your favorite music out in the elements or at the gym without compromising on sound quality.
Intuitive Interface
The top of each earbud represents a large, capacitive touch surface with more advanced sensors that improve the responsiveness and reliability of touch-based interactions. The new industrial design also repositions all antenna and microphones within the earbud to avoid the possibility of accidental blockage of wireless or audio signals, while a new IR proximity sensor provides more reliable and responsive wear sensing.
Bowers & Wilkins Music App
The Bowers & Wilkins Music app provides industry-first headphone music streaming directly from your preferred music services, with TIDAL, Pandora, Qobuz, Deezer, Sony Hi-Res, SoundCloud, TuneIn (US only), and Ximalaya (China only) supported at launch, with more to follow. The app lets you set up and tweak your Pi8 earbuds with minimal fuss and offers smart, intuitive controls.
