Description
NAD Electronics Masters M10 V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifier combines an audiophile-quailty NAD Hybrid Digital nCore Amplifier with high-resolution BluOS music streaming. Sleek, compact, and modern, the M10 V2 exemplifies the NAD Electronics notion—just add speakers.

Connect a wide variety of music devices via stereo analog RCA, digital optical, and coax inputs. Playback high-resolution digital music through the USB-A input, or stream music wirelessly from your favorite service using the BluOS app, supporting high-res streaming from Tidal, Deezer, and others. The HDMI eARC input allows you to connect sound from an eARC or ARC equipped TV or projector. With integrated surround-sound decoding, use the M10 V2 and separately available wireless BluOS speakers to create a 4.0, 4.1, or 4.2 channel configuration. Additionally with two-way aptX HD Bluetooth, you can send music from compatible Bluetooth devices, and listen through compatible Bluetooth headphones or wireless speakers.

Just Add (More) Speakers

Along with audiophile-grade speaker terminals, the M10 V2 has two independent subwoofer jacks, whose output settings are adjustable from the BluOS app. In addition to providing high-quality stereo sound, the M10 V2 has Dolby Digital surround-sound decoding. Home theatre fans can configure a pair of BluOS surround-enabled wireless speakers or amplifiers to play the surround channels, while the M10 V2 handles the front channels, so that the M10 V2 serves as the hub of a 4.1 or 4.2 channel Dolby Digital surround setup. The M10 V2 transmits the rear channels wirelessly, with very low latency, so you don’t have to run wires around your room to connect the surround speakers.

Complete Control

There are many ways to operate the M10 V2. Use the BluOS app on a smartphone, tablet, or computer to cue up music from your favourite streaming service, or music stored on USB and network drives. Choose some songs from the Spotify or Tidal app on your computer or smart device, then shift playback to the M10 V2. Stream music to the M10 V2 from an iPhone, iPad, or iTunes library via AirPlay 2. Select music by voice using Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri, or Google Assistant voice protocol. The M10 V2 is Roon Ready, so you can stream music from a Roon Core server. The M10 V2 can be integrated into Apple, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, and other home automation systems, so you can control music playback along with other home systems like lighting, shades, HVAC, and security. Use the supplied remote control to adjust volume, skip tracks, and activate preset commands. Or choose tracks, select sources, and adjust volume and other settings from the M10 V2's full-color touchscreen. In addition, the M10 V2 can learn commands from your favorite IR remote control.

Hybrid Digital nCore Amplifier

Based on the renowned nCore technology, the M10 V2's Hybrid Digital amplifier is conservatively rated at 100 watts per channel. It has Class-D architecture, but doesn't use a clock or sawtooth generator for modulation; rather it is a self-oscillating design using multiple nested feedback loops. A common problem with Class-D amps is that the output filter can interact with the speaker load altering frequency response, but the nCore is a load-invariant design that includes the output filter in the feedback loop, correcting the response to make it flatter. Its updated gain algorithms allow higher output levels with inefficient speakers. The subwoofer outputs also have higher gain, allowing for a wider range of subwoofer-main speaker combinations.

Premium DAC

For the M10 V2, NAD Electronics has chosen the ESS Sabre 9028 DAC for its high precision and low noise. The 32-bit ESS Sabre DAC architecture offers state-of-the-art performance for high-res audio streams. The ESS 9028's programmable output filter makes it an ideal candidate for MQA fine tuning.

Dirac Live Room Correction

Dirac Live is a very sophisticated room correction system that measures the room using the supplied microphone and sends the data to the cloud where Dirac configures custom filters and then automatically loads them into the M10. Dirac manages the energy in the room, so that transients have amazing impact and destructive resonances are diminished. Imaging and clarity are intensified in a very natural way. This is a one-time setting and corrects the impulse (time response) of the system as well as smoothing frequency response in the bass region, up to 500 Hz. For more difficult rooms or systems using multiple subwoofers there will be optional enhancements that can be purchased by the customer directly from Dirac.
