The MDF cabinet houses a pair of 6.5" Focal W-composite sandwich midwoofers, one of which manages bass, while the other oversees mid-bass frequencies to preserve signal dynamics without masking the midrange frequencies. A rear-panel switch lets you choose which speaker handles which frequencies. A beryllium inverted dome tweeter provides crisp, clear treble. An optimized tweeter baffle provides remarkable dispersion control, while the front laminar bass port helps to extend bass response while removing port noise and distortion.
Each driver is powered by its own amplifier for a total of 190W of RMS power for a strong and distortion-free performance. The rear panel offers a standard XLR input connector, which allows you to connect virtually any professional sound system. It also has a high-pass filter, shelving EQs for low and high frequencies, and a mid-frequency EQ to help you dial in your best sound. The focus mode provides two monitor signatures in one; 2-way monitor and 1-way full-range monitor from the woofers alone. The monitor is magnetically shielded for safe use near video monitors and other electronic equipment.
